Think and Learn Private Limited (along with its subsidiaries and affiliates, collectively referred to as "DOPA Doctors Own Prep Academy LLP", “Company”, “us”, “we”, or “our”) is a leading ed-tech company, incorporated in India, for imparting learning. We value your trust. In order to honour that trust, DOPA adheres to ethical standards in gathering, using, and safeguarding any information you provide to us.
This Privacy Policy governs your use of: (a) the application – ‘DOPA Coaching ’ (“Application”), (b) the website –https://mydopaclass.com/ ’, (c) the other associated applications, products, websites, and services managed or offered by the Company – both online, as well as offline. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully before using the Application, Website, or availing any of our services and products, along with the Terms of Use (“ToU” or “Terms”) provided on the Application, Website.
Your use of the Website, Application, and/or services in connection with the Application, Website, or any of our products or offline tuition and coaching centre offerings (collectively referred to as “Services”), or any registrations made with us through any mode or usage of any of our products, including SD cards, tablets or any other storage or transmitting device shall signify your acceptance of this Privacy Policy and your agreement to be legally bound by the same in respect of our collection and usage of your Information (as detailed below).
If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Website, Application, or avail any of our Services.
All capitalized and other defined terms used but not defined herein shall have the meaning as assigned to it under the ToU
User Provided Information
We obtain the information you provide when you download and register for or on the Application, Website or Services, or through your use of the Services. When you register with us, you (on behalf of yourself and/or a Child User) generally provide: (a) your name, age, email address, location, phone number, password and educational interests; (b) transaction-related information, such as when you make purchases, respond to any offers, or download or use our Application or Website; (c) information you provide us when you or a Child User contacts us for help; (d) information you or the Child User enters into our system when using the Website/Application/Services, such as while asking doubts, using chat windows, participating in discussions and taking tests and uploading examination or test marksheets; The said information collected could be categorized as “Personal Information”, “Sensitive Personal Information” and other information. Personal Information, and Sensitive Personal Information (each as individually defined under the Information Technology (Reasonable security practices and procedures and sensitive personal data or information) Rules, 2011 (“Data Protection Rules”) and other information shall collectively be referred to as “Information” in this Privacy Policy.
We may use the Information to contact you or the Child User from time to time, to provide you with the Application, Website or Services, or with important information, required notices and marketing promotions. We will ask you when we need more Information that personally identifies you or the Child User or allows us to contact you or the Child User.
In order to make the best use of our Application/Website/Services/ and enable your Information or Information belonging to a Child User to be captured accurately on the Application/Website/Services, it is essential that you or the Child User log-in using your own credentials. You agree and acknowledge that the use of our Application/Website/Services by a Child User will be facilitated through your account and is undertaken pursuant to your consent and knowledge, and under your supervision.
Further, you shall, at any time while using the Website/Application/Services, also have an option to withdraw your consent given earlier to us to use such Personal Information or Sensitive Personal Information. Such withdrawal of consent is required to be sent in writing to us at the contact details provided in this Privacy Policy below. In such event, however, the Company fully reserves the right not to allow further usage of the Application or Website or provide any of our Services to you or the Child User.
Automatically Collected Information
In addition, the Application/Website/Services may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you or a Child User uses, such mobile device’s unique device ID, IP address, and mobile operating system, the type of mobile internet browsers used, and information about the way you or a Child User use the Website/Application/Services. As is true of most mobile applications, we also collect other relevant information as per the permissions that are provided.
We use an outside credit card processing company to bill you for the use of our Application/Website/Services, as the case may be. This credit card processing company does not retain, share, store or use Personally Information or Sensitive Personal Information for any other purpose.
Use of Personal Information
We use the collected Information to analyse trends, to conduct research, to administer the Application/Website/Services, to learn about each user’s learning patterns, engagement, and movements around the Application/Website/Services, and to gather demographic information and usage behaviour about our user base as a whole. Aggregated and individual, anonymized and non-anonymized data may periodically be transmitted to or shared with external service providers to help us improve the Application, Website and our Services. We will share your or a Child User’s Information with third parties only in the ways that are described below in this Privacy Policy. In certain cases, Information is stored on the Company’s cloud and other storage solutions, with access being provided to third party service providers.
We may use individual data and behaviour patterns combined with Personal Information to provide you with personalized content, and better your learning objectives and experience. Third parties provide certain services which we may use to analyse data and information (including your or a Child User’s Personal Information and Sensitive Personal Information) to personalize, drive insights and help us better your or a Child User’s experience of our Services, or provide you with more value added applications, products, information and services, and in the interests of measuring and enhancing your/a Child User’s performance. However, these third-party companies do not have any independent right to share this information. We do not sell, trade or share your Information to any third party (except subsidiaries/affiliates of the Company for related offerings) unless, we have been expressly authorized by you either in writing or electronically to do so. We may at times provide aggregate statistics about our customers, traffic patterns, and related site information to reputable third parties, however this information when disclosed will be in an aggregate form and does not contain any of your or a Child User’s Personal Information.
DOPA will occasionally send email notices, messages or contact you or the Child User to communicate about our Website/Application/Services, as they are considered an essential part of the Services you have chosen.
Please note that we may disclose Information:
- as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;
- to enforce this Privacy Policy and the applicable ToU, including for the investigation of potential violations thereof;
- when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your or a Child User’s safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, address security or technical issues or respond to a governmental request;
with our trusted services providers who work on our behalf, do not have an independent use of the information we disclose to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this Privacy Policy;
- to protect against imminent harm to the rights, property or safety of the Application/Website/Services, or the Company, its users or the public as required or permitted by law;
- with third party service providers in order to personalize the Application/Website/Services for a better user experience and to perform behavioural analysis; and
- with our subsidiaries/affiliates in connection with our/their offerings, subject to this Privacy Policy.
In addition to the Information that may be directly provided by you to us, any portion of the Information relating to Child Users provided by you, or relating to you provided by a Child User shall be deemed to be given with your consent for Information pertaining to you and in respect of Information pertaining to the Child User, with your consent as such Child User’s parent or legal guardian. Such consent is deemed to be provided by your registration with us or by virtue of your downloading, accessing, purchasing, registering for or using the Application/Website/Services.
Access to Personal Information
We will provide you with the means to review and ensure that your and/or a Child User’s Personal Information, including Sensitive Personal Information is correct, updated, and current. If you have filled out a user profile, we will provide an obvious way for you to access and change your and/or a Child User’s profile from our Application/Services/Website. We adopt reasonable security measures to protect your password from being exposed or disclosed to anyone.
Cookies
We send cookies (small files containing a string of characters) to any computer device or electronic device used to access or use our Application/Website/Services, thereby uniquely identifying the web browser of such device. We may alert you by email or phone (through SMS/call) to inform you about new service offerings of the Company and our subsidiaries/affiliates, or any other information which we feel might be useful for you or a Child User, through the Company or our subsidiaries/affiliates.

We are concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your or a Child User’s Information. We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect Information we process and maintain. For example, we limit access to this Information to authorized employees only who need to know such Information in order to operate, develop or improve our Application/Services/Website.
Please be aware that although we endeavour to provide reasonable security for Information we process and maintain, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches.
If we become aware that your and/or a Child User’s Personal Information or Sensitive Personal Information has been accessed or disclosed in a manner not in accordance with this Privacy Policy, we will on a best efforts basis notify you of the nature and extent of such access or disclosure (to the extent we know of such access or disclosure) as soon as reasonably possible and as permitted by applicable laws.
How Long Do We Retain Information?
Currently, we plan to retain your and/or a Child User’s Information while your account is active and for at least three years afterward. We may alter this practice according to legal and business requirements. For example, we may shorten or lengthen the retention period for some data if needed to comply with law or voluntary codes of conduct. Further, unless otherwise prohibited, we may shorten the retention period for some types of Information if needed to free up storage space or upon the expiry or cancellation of your subscription for the Services.
Log information
When you or a Child User access our Website/Application/Services, our servers automatically record information that a browser sends whenever you or a Child User visit our Website/Application. These server logs may include information such as web requests, internet protocol addresses, browser types, browser language, the date and time of requests, and one or more cookies that may uniquely identify the web browser.

Please note that your and/or a Child User’s access to and use of the Application/Website/Services is conditional upon your consenting to this Privacy Policy. Please further note that if you are a Child User, please immediately stop availing or using the Application/Website/Services until your parent/legal guardian approves and consents to the usage of the Application/Website/Services in accordance with the Privacy Policy and the ToU.
